In its previous life, the building was the Bonnie Doon Primary School.

It is still the hub of the community: a vibrant community house, welcoming people from the district and beyond to enjoy everything from Bowen to bocce, cooking to computers, dog training to digital cameras, family history to first aid, leadlighting to laminating, scrapbooking to self defence.

Health wise:
Bulk billing Medi-clinic runs 9 am to midday every Friday.
Free blood pressure testing is available from the Community Health Nurse the first Tuesday of each month from 1 pm to 3 pm.
