Our Vehicles
Australian designed and built  all-terrain 4WD OKAs purpose built for off road touring.
All vehicles are air-conditioned and have 13 forward facing, coach designed, fabric seats fitted with seat belts.

Water containers, first aid kits, UHF radios and satellite phones are included, and vehicles are equipped for extended camping safaris.
Guests are ensured of safe and comfortable travel in small personal groups.

Tomahawk Hut, Refugee Hut, Mt No 3, Razorback Hut, Mt Stirling Summit, Craig's Hut and Bindaree Falls
- 9 am to 5 pm, 8 hours
- Morning tea and barbecue lunch included.

Peaks and Valleys
Razorback Hut, Pineapple Flat, King Basin, King River crossings, King Hut, Bindaree Falls, Craig's Hut and Mt. Stirling Summit.
- 9 am to 6 pm, 9 hours
- Morning tea and barbecue lunch included.

Twin Peaks
Through Telephone Box Junction, up the Howqua Gap track to the summit of Mt. Stirling, and enjoy a short walk. From there to Clear Hills and Craig's Hut (originally constructed for the highly successful Australian film "The Man from Snowy River").
On to the beautiful Bindaree Falls, back around the Circuit Road and across to the Mt Buller Alpine Village for a guide's tour of the resort.
- 9 am to 5 pm, 8 hours
- Morning tea and barbecue lunch included.

Top of the World
Bindaree Falls, Bindaree Hut, Pikes Flat, Bluff Hut, King Billy 1 and 2, returning through historic Howqua Hills.
- 9 am to 7 pm, 10 hours
- Morning tea, afternoon tea and lunch included.
This tour is a huge day for adults - not recommended for children.

Twilight Tour
Late afternoon and evening is a special time in the Victorian high country. The forest and mountains are touched with a magical golden light and the bush animals come out to feed. 
See Razorback Hut, Craig's Hut and Mt Stirling Summit at sunset.
- 4 pm to 10.30 pm, 6 1/2 hours.
- Full barbecue dinner with dessert, complimentary wine or BYO other drinks.

Cattlemen's Campout
Join us on our popular overnight campout. We visit ten famous huts of the high country where you can spend the night in your swag under the stars or in one of the historic huts.
Enjoy a wonderful weekend touring the historic huts in the comfort of our fully equipped, all-terrain vehicles.
- Tours depart every second weekend through our touring season.
-10.30 am Saturday to 5 pm Sunday
- Meals, tents, mattresses and all camping equipment are included in this tour.
- Minimum 3 people required.
This tour can be arranged for midweek upon request.

Camping Safari
We specialise in extended camping safaris into the rugged Alpine National Park, including the remote Howitt High Plains and the mysterious Wonnangatta Station. Follow the old stock routes, stay overnight, or up to four nights at idyllic and historic campsites. Visit the old gold mining town of Grant. Other areas upon request.

All Seasons

Howqua Hills Historic Area
High Country Scenic Tours has exclusive access to the remote and beautiful 420-acre property of Stockyard Creek, surrounded by State Forest. This secluded historic area is steeped in history.

Enjoy an interpretive guided tour of historic pioneer huts and mining sites.
Refresh yourself with a morning tea and lunch with Wendy Judd Stoney at "Greenstone" Stockyard Creek, Howqua Hills, where electricity is supplied by solar panels and a turbine in the creek. This property was used extensively for "The Man From Snowy River" films, as well as several documentaries and films on the High Country.

The tour includes access to interesting historic areas not available to the general public.

During winter this tour is a wonderful alternative as a rest day off the mountain.

Winery Tours
Join us on a wine tasting journey through the spectacular Mansfield region. You will visit five well-respected cool climate wineries, while you take in the magnificent scenery of Lake Eildon and the legendary High Country.
Visit Kinloch, Delatite, Growlers Gully, Peppin Ridge and Nillahcootie Estate Wineries. Enjoy a delicious luncheon in an historic garden, or at one of the wineries, and experience the delights of local produce, as well as a glass of wine.
Sit back in comfort and enjoy the tall tales and true from your local guide and friendly host.

We offer personalised tours for couples, families and social groups.
