Mansfield currently has an ageing outdoor pool. Mansfield Shire Council is now assessing the level of support for a new year-round swimming pool. We believe investment in a new heated aquatic facility will benefit the Mansfield community into the future. YOU NEED TO ACT! Here’s what you can do: • Read the information on www.mansfield.vic.gov.au/aquatics.aspx • Attend the public meetings - Thursday 4th August Mansfield Council Chambers 12-2pm / 6-8pm • Respond to the ratepayers’ survey coming to all ratepayers early August YAFM supports an indoor watersports and aquatics facility to benefit the lifestyle, educational, sporting, health and recreational needs of all residents and visitors to our community. YAFM's aims are to: - enlist members to support this purpose - raise funds for the provision of aquatic facilities - liaise with sporting, community and health organisations in development and promotion of aquatic facilities - enlist support of government and funding bodies in development of the project - keep the community informed of progress.
