The man-made wetland park of the Mansfield Mullum Wetlands is a popular place for those who wish to enjoy a walk through bushland at their own pace. It is on the western edge of the township and extends for over a kilometre along the north side of the Maroondah Highway.

Go for a peaceful walk through the wetlands and enjoy native birds, plants and animals.
The walking trail begins right next to the Visitor Information Centre and seating is available along the route. Allow 45 minutes for the 1.5 kilometre return trip.

Maintenance of the Wetlands
Friends of the Mansfield Mullum Wetlands Inc. maintain the Wetlands. Their aim is to develop and maintain an aesthetically pleasing and effective educational wetlands ecosystem through community involvement.

Disabled Access   
While the surface of the path is adequate for most wheelchair users, some assistance may be required as some areas are a little soft.  The gradient is suitable along the path.
