Radio Mansfield 99.7FM

In 1995, a group of interested people came together to look at the possibility of setting up a community radio station in Mansfield. Temporary broadcasting licences were obtained and the station commenced broadcasting for short periods, presenting a variety of quality programs.

On the 15th December 1997 Radio Mansfield began broadcasting as Mansfield Community Radio 3MCR, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, from the old station masters house near the railway station in Mansfield. In November 2005 the radio station moved to new studios in the Café Connect building centrally located in the main street of Mansfield.
