VividStix custom-made feather banners are a vibrant, colourful way to welcome visitors to your home, business or event. They can also be a feature in your garden, café or cellar door.

The banners are an eye-catching and effective addition to any outdoor setting – field days, markets, community events, etc - with the added advantage of looking good when there is no wind and even better in windy conditions.

Visibility
Choose from a large range of fabric colours that are bright and translucent in the outdoors. Samples can be sent to you on request.
The tail adds a lot of movement and interest to the banner. The ‘standard’ tail is 3.5m long, 35mm wide and detachable, and incorporates the colours of the banner.
Durability
The UV-resistant nylon fabric and thread used in manufacturing ensure that the banners have a long life-span, with minimal fading.
Simplicity
The banners are 4 metres tall and are supported by a 2-piece fibreglass pole which is lightweight and strong. The whole structure is quick and easy to erect and dismantle.
Originality
Feather banners are custom-made to your requirements. Your company logo or personal design can be incorporated onto a unique banner to give your business maximum visibility to passing traffic - a distinctive landmark.

Packages and Pricing

Standard Banner Package - $300 for a simple design of up to 4 colours and includes:
• consultation and help (for up to 2 hours) with the design
• one custom-designed 4 metre banner
• one 4.5 metre 2-piece fibreglass pole
• a tail - 3.5 metre long x 35mm wide, easily detachable, incorporating the colours of the banner
• 250 ml UV-protectant spray
• metal anchor stake (a non-turf stand is available if required)
and cloth storage bag.

Freight is extra.

Variations on the standard package are possible (eg other types of flags/signs, different tails, etc.)

A more complex design (including lettering) will cost $400.

Design Hints
• Bold and fairly simple designs give maximum visual impact. The banners are intended to be viewed from a distance, so fine detail is unnecessary.
• Strong contrasting colours look good – up to four or five are most effective.
• Words are more readable when applied from top to bottom. The writing will be reversed on the back of the banner.

Displaying and setting up

Banners will be seen at their best if displayed at a slight angle (about 15 degrees) to the vertical. This ensures that they will hang properly, even when there is no wind.

Hammer the banner's anchor stake into the ground for half its length (ensure there are no pipes, etc below).
The fibreglass pole (and the banner) can then be placed over the stake.
